One week after their hotline number crashed due to high call volume and inadequate infrastructure, the Palm Beach Department of Health is slowly starting to see senior citizens by appointment to vaccinate them for COVID-19.
On Monday, the department announced that the appointment phone line is “full and closed” and that it’s transitioning to a new “website-based” appointment system. In the meantime, you can email them.
Our local appointment line is currently full and closed for COVID-19 vaccine requests as we work to transition to a new website based appointment system.
At this time appointments should only be requested by sending an email to chd50feedback@flhealth.gov. There are no spaces or hyphens in this email address.
Please remember to include your name, phone number, and date of birth. All emails are being received and will be contacted in order with further instructions as appointments slots and options become available. Vaccination appointments are based on dosage availability, we appreciate your continued patience.
You can get more information from the Florida Department of Health website.
