After a day or so of emergency talks, the Palace has officially responded to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s bombshell CBS interview with Oprah Winfrey. On behalf of the Queen, the Palace says the “whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Meghan and Harry.”
They also take the race issues "very seriously" despite "varying recollections."
Meanwhile, British media outlets are reporting that Prince Charles seemed to "laugh nervously" when asked about the interview during his visit to a COVID-19 vaccine center in London. We're not quite convinced there's a laugh, but he definitely heard the question and started walking away faster.
