His response: let’s go back to the Tropic Star Lodge.
Welp, you didn’t have to ask me twice. Years ago, I asked Guy Harvey, the famed artist and marine biologist where the best place in the world to fish was and his response was: Tropic Star. That was 2007, and I’ve been going there ever since.
It’s in Panama, in the Darian jungle ...18 miles from the Colombian border and 100 miles from the nearest road.
The accommodations are 5 star, as is the food...but the fishing? Off the chain! Here’s some samples:
