Omg I saw live music , in person and even better: it was 6 miles from my house!
Jimmy Buffett played the Delray Old School Square. Interestingly, there were only 880 people in the whole venue, yet it was still a pain in the ass to get in.
It was worth it. People were dressed in various parrot head gear, Hawaiian shirts were everywhere and the booze was flowing! (They had the Papa’s Pilar blonde which I had with Pineapple and cranberry) .
From the first notes of Changes in Latitude , Changes in Attitude, through the big “sing along” hits like Cheeseburger in Paradise and Margaritaville, people were ready to have a good time.
Delray is great; lots of killer bars and restaurants, parking was a breeze, and I was home by 10:30pm, not bad!
Best of all, for a brief moment, it felt like we were close to the end of the pandemic and how nice will that be?
So go out and see live music, lots of shows are coming this way! Here’s to 2021!
