After years of fighting, the organizers of Ultra Music Festival and residents of Downtown Miami have agreed to coexist.
Ultra Music Festival and the Downtown Neighbors Alliance, a neighborhood organization representing a dozen residential communities in downtown Miami, announced that they have reached an agreement and residents will no longer try to have the festival kicked out of Bayfront Park.
James Torres, President of the Miami Downtown Neighbors Alliance, said:
“We believe that this agreement will allow Ultra and its neighbors to coexist and will highlight Downtown Miami as “One Community for All”, and a great place to live, work and play.”
Ultra organizers said the festival would be “voluntarily implementing its first community standards program addressing issues including construction schedules, park closures, noise monitoring/impact and traffic management.”
Ultra Music Festival will happen March 25 – 27, 2022 at Bayfront Park.
