Pictured here is Teresa Fichtelman with a beautiful wahoo from a trip earlier this week. This was a special catch as it was her first wahoo ever!
There have been some incredible blue green edges nearshore in the perfect spot to catch wahoo and tuna. We caught several fish on the blue side of these edges. This particular fish was hooked on the long planer rod on a crystal sea witch with the bonita strip traveling at a speed of 8 knots. Teresa also caught several blackfin tuna which was another first for her. As for mahi-mahi believe it or not they were located shallow this week in the green water as several were caught in 50 to 80 feet of water. I know it sounds crazy but there are no fences and you never know we’re fish are going to travel.
The bottom fishing was awesome again this week.

Pictured here is Josh Davis with a snowy group that we caught on our monthly Mission fishin trip this week. To the right of Josh is Capt Scott Sansone who runs the “Outpost” out of Hillsboro inlet. This grouper was caught in 270 feet of water on a chicken rig tipped with squid.
The weather looks beautiful so get out there and go fishing!
