This Is How You Can Stop Those Annoying Ads From Playing At The Pump

Tired of those incredibly loud and annoying ads that play automatically every time you fill up the car? Good news - the way to mute them is ridiculously easy.

(*Disclaimer* Before we get the "this doesn't work!" comments...there will be some gas station somewhere in the world that this doesn't work on, sorry.)

Here's the secret...one of those buttons on the right of the screen is actually a mute button. Of course the gas station wants you to hear their ads so they're not going to label the button and make it easy for you.

Which button on the right? It varies. At some stations it's the top button, at the Shell stations on the Turnpike plaza it's the second button down on the right side. Online, others say it might be the third or fourth button.

So just start hitting buttons on the right-hand side and you should be good.
