Pictured above is Cody Bandura aboard the Lisa B with a beautiful mahi caught this week. We spent several days offshore and caught quite a few mahi this size as well as as lots of undersized fish that we released. The best of the bite was about 10 miles off the beach. We fished along some scattered weed lines trolling roughly 8 knots pulling lures and daisy chains. The mahi bite should be really good after this strong east wind.
As I’m writing this report we are heading in from swordfishing with a group from Thailand. We caught 2 swords around 75 pounds. We kept one for dinner and released the other. The seas are quite large so be sure to check the weather if you plan on fishing this weekend. As of now Sunday looks to be the best for sea conditions.
Good Luck out there!

Dolphin bite has picked up this week and the size has gotten better around anything floating big patches of sargasum and under frigate birds along the edge still a few sailfish bites and occasional kingfish and wahoo on the kite or troll.
