Joey joined the show today to talk about Wings for Wishes, a unique South Florida fundraising event combining the love of delicious chicken wings with the desire to grant children’s wishes through Make-A-Wish Southern Florida.
The event, hosted by Sports Grill South Miami in conjunction with Make-A-Wish Board Members/Champions Gal Bensaadon and Brian R. Exelbert, includes a ‘block party’ with food and drink tasting stations, wing-eating competitions featuring professional eaters and media, live music, a DJ, and plenty of fun & games for kids and adults alike.
Joey Chestnut, the world’s #1 competitive eater, and colleagues from Major League Eating, will compete in a timed, chicken wing-eating contest.
WHAT: The 8th Annual "Wings for Wishes", a fundraiser whose proceeds will grant life-changing wishes for children that have critical illnesses.
