This past weekend, one of those events that most of us will never be rich or connected enough to get into…the LACMA Art & Film Gala, took place. Among the attendees to the black-tie affair were Jeff Bezos, Bezos’ girlfriend Lauren Sanchez, and Leonard DiCaprio. Then, in one fleeting moment caught on video, the three met…and it seems to many that there’s a definite vibe that Sanchez has a Leo-thing.
For those who don’t know, the Bezos/Sanchez thing became news just hours after the announcement of the Amazon billionaire’s divorce filing. Since then, the two have been together, showing she’s committed to Bezos, his Dr. Evil/Paul Shaffer good looks, and, of course…his billions of dollars. That is, until master schlong-slinger Leo comes into the picture.
In a bold move, however, Bezos showed he has a sense of humor about being the “other guy” in this triangle. Once the video of his girlfriend’s obvious fandom of DiCaprio went viral, Bezos took to Twitter to post his response. It’s him surrounded by jungle-looking greenery leaning on a sign that reads, “Danger! Steep Cliff. Fatal Drop.” With the pic, Bezos captioned, “Leo! Come over here. I want to show you something!” All of this makes you wonder, though, what kind of goo-goo eyes Sanchez might make at Elon Musk if they were ever to have a chance meeting. He is “the richest” after all…
